Premier Technology Apprentices partner with Snake River High School Welding Students to Donate to Christmas Tree Fantasy
Blackfoot, ID – The week of November 13 is National Apprenticeship Week. Premier Technology has partnered with Snake River High School to highlight the value of apprenticeships in Idaho.
Welding students from Snake River High School will join Premier Technology’s welding apprentices on November 13-16 to fabricate a Christmas tree and ornaments comprised of metallic and alloy materials. The Christmas tree will be donated to the Bingham County Christmas Tree Fantasy, which will be auctioned off on Thursday, November 30, 2023.
Premier Technology has Department of Labor registered apprenticeship programs in Welding/Fabrication and Machining. Apprentices learn the trade with a combination of on-the-job-training and in-house and formal classroom training taught by the College of Eastern Idaho. Training is provided over the course of 4 years, turning apprentices into skilled fabricators. There is no cost to the apprentice. 100% of the fees are paid with a combination of the Idaho Department of Labor program, Idaho Launch, and Premier Technology. This is an excellent opportunity to receive certified professional technical training without incurring the costs usually associated with attending a college program. Visit www.ptius.net/careers or contact the Human Resources Department for more information about our Apprenticeship Program.
