Blackfoot, ID - Premier Technology, Inc. announces the retirement of its Chief Operating Officer, Mike Ryan, effective April of 2017. Stepping into the role as Mike’s successor is Guy Girard, formerly Premier’s Commercial Nuclear Business Unit Manager, effective February 1, 2017.

After twenty years with Premier, Mike has announced his plans to retire and begin traveling full-time with his wife, Kris. Mike has spent a large portion of his professional career with Premier and has been an instrumental part of its growth and success since 1997 when he started with the company.  

“I’ve thoroughly enjoyed working with Doug and Shelly and the employees at Premier. The work was challenging and fun but the people side of the business was the reason for staying for 20 years,”Mike said,“It will be hard to leave such a great company and the friendships I’ve made but I’m also looking forward to the next phase of my life and the travels my wife and I plan to do.”

Doug Sayer, Chief Business Officer and Founder of Premier Technology, added,“Mike has been with Premier since the very beginning and we wouldn’t be where we are today without his contributions. He has been a true partner in building Premier and we could not have done this work or gotten where we are today without him. We wish him the best in his retirement.”

Guy has been with Premier since March of 2016 in the role of Commercial Nuclear Business Unit Manager. He has more than 30 years of experience in the nuclear industry; including roles in project management, construction, maintenance, quality assurance, and engineering in Naval Nuclear submarine overhaul, US Department of Energy, and commercial fabrication environments as a federal and contractor employee. Guy studied at the University of Massachusetts – Lowell, earning a BS in Mechanical Engineering. He is an active member of the American Nuclear Society and American Society of Mechanical Engineers. Premier is looking forward to having Guy as Chief Operating Officer and the new dynamic he will bring to the role.
